Description:Sodium hydrogen phosphate is used in food and water treatment in conjunction with trisodium phosphate. It is used as an emulsifier and buffer in foods and pharmaceuticals, anti-caking additive in powdered products, dietary supplement, scale inhibitor, reagent and buffer in analytical chemistry. It finds application in detergents, cleaning agents, textile, leather auxiliary, fertilizers and galvanoplastics. Further, it is used as a saline laxative to treat constipation.
