Description:1,6-Bis(acryloyloxy)-2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5-octafluorohexane is a high viscosity solvent that is used in the formulation of photoresist materials for semiconductor device fabrication. It has been shown to be useful in the production of cross-linked polymers and in coating applications. 1,6-Bis(acryloyloxy)-2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5-octafluorohexane has also been shown to have a strong affinity for atomic force microscopy (AFM) gold tips and is commonly used as a coating on AFM tips to reduce tip wear and improve imaging resolution.
