It induces apoptosis in cancer cells by binding to the DNA and inhibiting RNA synthesis. 4-(4-Chlorophenyl)-1H-pyrazole has been shown to inhibit cell proliferation of HL60, BEL7402, and BGC823 cells with cytotoxic effects that are mediated by the generation of reactive oxygen species. This drug also has elemental analysis and can be used for the treatment of human leukemia, lymphoma, and breast cancer.
