Dexamethasone sodium phosphate has been shown to be effective for the treatment of bowel disease and has minimal side-effect profiles. A study was conducted on dexamethasone sodium phosphate and il-2 receptor in rats with experimentally induced perilymphatic fistula. The results showed that dexamethasone sodium phosphate was able to inhibit the IL-2 receptor and reduce the severity of inflammation in the perilymphatic space.
