Description:Dichlorohexylmethylsilane is a cationic polymerization agent that reacts with hydrochloric acid to form a polymer. It is used as a cross-linking agent to produce polymers with high molecular weight and good chemical stability. Dichlorohexylmethylsilane is not reactive with ethyl chloride, but can react with chlorine atoms to form chlorosilanes. Dichlorohexylmethylsilane has a particle size of 0.5-5 μm which makes it well suited for use in flow systems and potential use as a reactive site for hydrogen chloride.
