Product Information
Name:2-Furoyl chloride
Synonyms:
- furan-2-carbonyl chloride
Brand:Biosynth
Description:2-Furoyl chloride is a fatty acid chloride that is produced by the reaction of 2-furoic acid with hydrogen chloride. This chemical has been shown to inhibit the growth of leukemic cells in vitro. It is believed to function by inhibiting protein synthesis and lipid synthesis, which may lead to cell death. 2-Furoyl chloride has also been found to inhibit the activity of other enzymes such as kinases and phosphatases. The kinetic properties of this chemical have been studied using a kinetic method based on coumarin derivatives. This method measures the rate of competitive inhibition for each enzyme substrate pair at different concentrations. The kinetic energy was analyzed using gravimetric analysis, which measures the amount of product produced from an enzymatic reaction at different temperatures and pH values. The Langmuir adsorption isotherm was used to measure the equilibrium binding capacity for 2-furoyl chloride at different concentrations and temperatures. Low energy hydrochloric acid was used in
