Description:4-(1H-Imidazol-2-yl)Piperidine is a molecule that has been optimized for its efficacy in cellular assays. This drug also inhibits platelet aggregation, which may be due to its tautomeric or n-oxide form. 4-(1H-Imidazol-2-yl)Piperidine has also been found to be a fluorescent molecule that can be used as a probe for molecular imaging techniques such as fluorescence microscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy.
