Description:Octahydropyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazine is a novel drug with inhibitory activity against TNF-α and adenosine A1 receptors. It has been shown to have inhibitory activities in a range of animal models of infectious diseases. The structural analysis revealed that octahydropyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazine binds to the D4 receptor in the brain, which is involved in dopamine signaling. This binding inhibits the release of dopamine from neurons and consequently inhibits cellular growth. Octahydropyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazine has also been shown to have an acute toxicity study and a carbapenem antibiotic study that showed no adverse effects on human cells. In an animal model of breast cancer, octahydropyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazine inhibited the growth of MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells, but had no effect on healthy
