Description:TSTU is a coupling reagent used to form amides via a reactive N-hydroxysuccinimidyl ester. TSTU finds application in the post-synthetic chemical derivatisation of cyanine and rhodamine dyes to be used as fluorescent labels and in the synthesis of the N-succinimidyl 4-[18F]fluorobenzoate ([18F]SFB) to form conjugated to be used as PET tracers.
