Product Information

Name:cis-3,4',5-Trimethoxy-3'-aminostilbene
Synonyms:
  • 5-[(1Z)-2-(3,5-Dimethoxyphenyl)ethenyl]-2-methoxy-benzenamine
Brand:Biosynth
Description:cis-3,4',5-Trimethoxy-3'-aminostilbene is a natural compound that has been shown to be cytotoxic to tumor cells. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of human colon cancer cells and induce apoptosis in these cells. The mechanism of cytotoxicity is dependent on the inhibition of autophagy, which leads to an increased accumulation of lysosomes and subsequent cell death. cis-3,4',5-Trimethoxy-3'-aminostilbene also inhibits angiogenesis by inhibiting the formation of new blood vessels that supply nutrients and oxygen to tumors, as well as inhibiting tumor vasculature. The drug was able to reduce tumor size when administered as a single dose in mice with lung cancer xenografts and also inhibited the growth of human breast cancer xenografts in mice. cis-3,4',5-Trimethoxy-3'-aminostilb
