Tris(2-butoxyethyl)phosphate
CAS:
Ref. 3D-FT33384

Product Information
Name:Tris(2-butoxyethyl)phosphate
Synonyms:
- TBEP
Brand:Biosynth
Description:Tris(2-butoxyethyl)phosphate (TBEP) is a phosphorothioate that is used to inhibit the activity of the enzyme polymerase chain reaction. TBEP has been shown to induce apoptosis in vitro, which may be due to its ability to decrease mitochondrial membrane potential and interfere with signal pathways. Tris(2-butoxyethyl)phosphate has not been shown to affect human serum α1-acid glycoprotein or dimethyl fumarate levels. Tris(2-butoxyethyl)phosphate is an efficient inhibitor of DNA polymerase activity and mitochondrial DNA synthesis in vivo, but it does not significantly affect mitochondrial membrane potential or cell proliferation.
