Description:Trimethylsilylmethanesulfonate is a macrocyclic inhibitor that can be used to study the enzymatic glycosylation of sugar residues. It is used as a reagent in organic synthesis and has been shown to have synergistic effects with other compounds, such as cationic polymerization. Trimethylsilylmethanesulfonate binds to the anomeric carbon of the sugar residue by forming a covalent bond with it.
