Description:2'-Deoxy-N6-phenoxyacetyladenosine is a cyclic oligonucleotide analog that has been shown to be efficient in inhibiting the replication of RNA. It binds to the RNA polymerase, preventing transcription and replication of the nucleic acid. 2'-Deoxy-N6-phenoxyacetyladenosine is also an effective inhibitor of DNA synthesis and can inhibit the synthesis of proteins by binding to ribosomes. This drug is structurally similar to deoxyadenosine, which is a component of DNA, and it has been shown to be more potent than other analogs.
