Description:Applications (2S,3S,4S,5R)-6-(2-(Difluoromethoxy)acetoxy)-3,4,5-trihydroxytetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-carboxylic Acid is metabolite of 2-(Difluoromethoxy)-acetaldehyde (D442365(M)). 2-(Difluoromethoxy)-acetaldehyde is a derivative of 2-(Difluoromethoxy)ethanol (D423695(M)), which is a useful reactant in the synthetic preparation of N-substituted alkoxyalkanamides as modulators of the integrated stress response pathway. The glucuronide that is attached to 2-(Difluoromethoxy)-acetaldehyde by the glycosidic bond.
