Descrição:Spironolactone Related Compound C is a chiral molecule that has been synthesized by the ring-opening of an asymmetric meso-diamine. The product was obtained in high yield, with a transition temperature of -35°C and plates that are oriented on the surface. This compound has been shown to be activated by paraformaldehyde and low yield, as well as oriented into a chiral form. It can be thermally multistep to produce other compounds such as spironolactone and its derivatives. Spironolactone Related Compound C is also irreversibly oxidized by sulfur in the presence of catalysts such as copper sulfate and potassium dichromate.
