Descrição:[(3-Methylamino)propyl]tetrahydro-2-furancarboxamide is an amide that has been immobilized. This molecule is obtained by reaction of ethyl alcohol with cyclic carboxylic acid, which is a byproduct of the aminolysis of the corresponding nitrile with hydrochloric acid. This amide can be used for the treatment of hypertrophy in prostatic tissue and other tissues. The synthesis of this amide has been optimized and it has shown to yield high yields. Treatment with this drug leads to symptoms such as decreased lipase activity, decreased prostatic hypertrophy, and increased prostatic urethral pressure.
