This compound also has antibacterial properties and has been shown to produce infarction in rats, which may be due to its ability to inhibit tyrosine kinase activity. N-Propylhydrazineoxalate inhibits the biosynthesis of oxadiazole, which is a precursor for the production of autoantibodies associated with autoimmune diseases such as cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.
