Descrição:Praeruptorin C is a coumarin derivative that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. It is not active against bacteria, but has been shown to inhibit the production of neurotrophic factors and chemoattractant proteins in vitro. Praeruptorin C also has natural compounds, such as glycol esters, which are found in plants. This drug also has drug interactions with dextran sulfate and michaelis-menten kinetics in vitro assays. The synthesis of this compound is dependent on metabolic disorders and cytosolic Ca2+.
Praeruptorin C has been shown to be useful for the treatment of neurodegenerative disorders by inhibiting the activity of neurotrophic factors and chemoattractant proteins. This compound inhibits protein synthesis by binding to the enzyme polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and preventing DNA replication.
