  • Indocyanine green

    CAS:
Indocyanine green is a fluorescent dye with a variety of applications in medical imaging. It has been used to diagnose and evaluate the activity of cancer cells and brain functions. Indocyanine green has also been used as an angiographic agent for diagnosis of solid tumours. In addition, it can be used to evaluate liver function and the blood flow in the brain. The biological properties of indocyanine green have not yet been fully elucidated, but it is known that it binds to hepatocyte-like cells in culture and is found at high levels in human serum. This dye shows fluorescence when bound to DNA or RNA, which indicates its possible use as a molecular probe for detecting carcinoma cells.  Indocyanine green is a STT3B inhibitor and has been shown to prevent α-amanitin toxicity in mice (Wang et al, 2023). This means it could be a possible antidote to poisoning by Amanita, such as death cap mushroom Amanita phalloides, which is the cause of over 90% of fatal mushroom poisoning.

  • Alcian blue 8GX

    CAS:
Alcian blue 8GX is a water-soluble dye that has been used for many years to stain the cell cytoplasm and other cellular structures. It binds to proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids. Alcian blue 8GX is typically used as a histochemical staining agent in conjunction with phosphotungstic acid or hematoxylin. The binding of Alcian blue 8GX to cells is dependent on the presence of hydroxyl groups and it is transported by a passive process that is inhibited by lanthanum ions. This dye binds to glucosylceramide in the cerebellar purkinje neurons, which can be detected using electron microscopy. Alcian blue 8GX has been shown to enhance protein synthesis in human serum, but does not affect this process at low energy levels such as those found in diabetic patients.

The surface methodology for this surfactant includes flow assay, which uses fluorescence spectrometry and synchronous fluorescence. Fluorescence spectrometry involves measuring the amount of light emitted by a substance when irradiated with light of a certain wavelength. Synchronous fluorescence involves using two lasers with different wavelengths to measure how quickly or slowly molecules react with each other. In this case, it measures how quickly or slowly Orange IV reacts with other substances in order to determine

The regression method is used to remove the effects of an experimental variable on a response. The regression method is usually applied in cases where there are two variables, one of which is the independent variable and the other is the dependent variable. The independent variable may be a physical parameter that can be controlled by the experimenter, such as temperature or pressure. The dependent variable may be a physical property like viscosity or density. In this case, we are using supercritical CO2 as our independent variable and cellulose acetate as our dependent variable. Supercritical CO2 has been shown to have a very high solubility for cellulose acetate monomers, which makes it useful for polymerizing cellulose acetate into polyesters and polyamides. This technique has been used to make devices such as electrodes with good electrical conductivity, membranes with good permeability, and organic semiconductors with good electron transport properties.

  • Mordant Black 13

    CAS:
Mordant Black 13 is an activated carbon with a high adsorption capacity and a good stability. It can be used as an adsorbent to remove organic matter from water or to purify air. Mordant Black 13 is also used in the treatment of cervical cancer. The optimum concentration for this mordant is 2-4%. Mordant Black 13 binds to the enzyme by chemical interaction, resulting in its deactivation. This binding also induces conformational changes in the protein substrate, which alters their reactivity. Mordant Black 13 has been shown to be effective against sulfa drugs and other control agents that are used in radiation therapy. Mordant Black 13 has been shown to have a hydroxyl group on the surface and interacts with coordination complexes, such as copper ions, forming a stable complex that can be detected by nmr spectroscopy.

    CAS:
Acid Red 249 is a hydroxyl-containing fatty acid with a molecular weight of 257. It is amphoteric, meaning it can act as either an acid or a base. Acid Red 249 can be used to highlight calcium carbonate in the presence of zirconium oxide and colorants. Acid Red 249 undergoes nucleophilic attack, which is a chemical reaction where one or more nucleophiles are attracted to an electrophile (a chemical species that donates electrons). This reaction is often used for dyeing textiles and for making food dyes. Radiation, such as ultraviolet light or gamma rays, induces the reaction by breaking down the molecule's double bond. The resulting products are called free radicals, which react with other molecules to form new compounds. These reactions produce fluorescent colors that can be detected by radiation-sensitive cameras and other instruments.

    CAS:
Indophenol blue is a dye that is used in laboratories to identify the presence of protein. It is used to detect proteins in biological samples such as human serum, which can be done through immunoassays or polymerase chain reaction (PCR) techniques. Indophenol blue reacts with proteins by oxidizing them and changing their color from blue to pink. The optimum concentration for this reaction to take place is 1-2mg/mL of hydrochloric acid and 0.5-1% sodium citrate. The redox potential of the reaction solution must be negative, so it can reduce the indophenol blue back to its original form. This chemical reaction is also used in surface methodology, where a drop of solution is added on an object's surface and then heat-treated to produce a change in coloration.

GDE has been shown to have DNA binding activity and can act as a model system for nuclear dna. It is also an antioxidant with transport properties that are studied by fluorescence analysis in cellular systems. GDE has been shown to reduce oxidative damage to DNA, which may be due to its ability to scavenge free radicals. This molecule also has antioxidative activity against human macrophages, cancer cells, and neuronal death caused by oxidative stress. Synthetic antioxidants such as butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) can inhibit the pro-oxidant effects of GDE on mitochondrial membrane potential, suggesting that it may have pro-oxidant activities as well.

  • Thymol blue sodium salt

    CAS:
Thymol blue sodium salt is a dye that is used to stain fatty acids. The hydroxyl group of thymol blue sodium salt reacts with the carboxylic acid group of fatty acids, forming a cross-link between the two groups. This reaction can be monitored by measuring changes in the intensity of light transmitted through the solution. Thymol blue sodium salt has also been used as a cross-linking agent in polycarboxylic acid hydration reactions, and as an analytical method for determining cationic polymerization. Optical sensors have been developed that are capable of measuring changes in cavity size due to hydration or cationic polymerization.

  • rac D-205 dye

    CAS:
Rac D-205 dye is a new type of fluorescent dye that has been synthesized to stain viral particles. It can be used for the detection of virus strains and for the study of their infection mechanisms. The reaction mechanism of Rac D-205 dye is still unknown, but it seems to be gaseous in nature. This dye was tested on laminar flow surrogates and emissions were detected. Rac D-205 dye binds to the genome sequence of viruses and stains the virus particles in a specific manner. The rate at which this reaction occurs is dependent on the kinetic strategy used, which needs to be investigated further.
