CAS:The objective of this study was to determine the affinity of the ligand 4-acetyl-5-cyclohexyl-1-(2-fluorophenyl)-1,5-dihydro-3-hydroxy-2H-pyrrol-2-one (ACHP) for the human chemokine receptor CCR2. A competitive binding assay was used and radioligand binding assays were performed. The results indicated that ACHP has a high affinity for CCR2 and is an endogenous agonist. The affinity of ACHP for CCR2 is greater than that of the known chemokine ligand MCP1 (CCL2).
