The linear calibration curve for fluoxetine was found using confocal microscopy and sequence analysis on human adipose tissue. Fluoxetine treatment increased insulin sensitivity and decreased food intake in rats with metabolic syndrome. Logistic regression was used to establish statistical significance between fluoxetine treatment and weight loss as well as insulin sensitivity.
